1990s to 2005

 

In 1990 VEB Elektronische Geräte Burgstädt was reprivatized and became F.G. Häberle. In September of the same year, KATHREIN Burgstädt GmbH was founded by F.G. Häberle and KATHREIN-Werke KG from Rosenheim, with Kathrein being the main shareholder.

 

In the mid-1990s antennas for a renowned automotive manufacturer were produced in series for the first time.

 

Late in 1997 the foundation stone was laid for new premises in the industrial park of Mühlau and, soon afterwards, in mid-1998 production already got underway.

 

At the turn of the millennium there began the development and production of components for remote monitoring of electric parameters in broadband cable networks and headends.
